Joseph seems to have the

factor. First, he is his father’s favorite, then Potiphar’s chosen servant, then even a
prison warden’s favorite. Never mind where Joseph wanted to be. But no matter where Joseph was, God was with
him.
As a person in a culture that esteems success, I feel both pulled to and pushed away from Joseph. The words
