GOD’S STORY
Deuteronomy 34:1-12
There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses,
whom the LORD knew face to face. The LORD sent him to
perform all the miraculous signs and wonders in the land
of Egypt against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his
entire land. With mighty power, Moses performed
terrifying acts in the sight of all Israel.

What do you hope you are known for? How much confidence do you have that you will one day be known for that?
For some, it’s being a faithful friend, a loving wife, a compassionate and available mother, a force for good in the
community or at school or at work. Some days—I hope for you a lot of days—it seems possible. But let’s face it,
some days it doesn’t. There are days when we have something to regret, some broken relationship, and we see that
something about our dreams—or about ourselves—is flawed.
Those days are when I want to remember what Moses was known for most.
