Week 13 Devotional
PRAY ER
Dear God, sometimes I feel like I will never learn how to speak up with confidence—neither
too quietly nor too brashly, but with the voice you gave me. But, when I look at David, I see
that you call people according to our hearts, and you notice our faithfulness in caring for
the little ones, the little flock, even when we work in a wilderness where no one but you
sees us. God, help me be faithful today with the people and projects in my care. Help me
know you see me. And please help me see what your Spirit would want me to see, do, and
say, around every table where you call me. Amen.

This week, ask God to show you which tables he wants you to pull up a chair to, why he called you there, and how
you can pray for those around the table. Ask God to help you know what he wants said, and use your voice for his
purposes. Ask God to show you how to sit tall for his glory, not your own, at God's table.
