PRAY ER
Dear God, thank you that you love having me talk to you and that you care about my pain.
Thank you that instead of chiding Jonah for his complaint, you gently led him to see how
you care for everyone. God, Jonah isn’t the only one who struggles to get beyond themself
enough to see the needs of others. And you set an even higher standard—you care not only
for your chosen people but for everyone. All I can say, God, is please help. Please help me
be more like your Son, Jesus, and bring the Good News to those near and far. Thank you,
God. Amen.
