GOD’S STORY
Acts 4:23-37
“And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your
servants, great boldness in preaching your word. Stretch out
your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and
wonders be done through the name of your holy servant
Jesus.”
After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all
filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of
God with boldness.”

DEV OTION
Have you ever obeyed God only to be hurt by people? I have. Even Jesus’ followers have, and they’re giving me hope
for a different response.

My response has sometimes been: Obey
discouraged Trust less Live smaller.

But the disciples demonstrated a different response: Obey Get hurt
Seek Jesus’ glory Ask for boldness and power Obey again.

They had the same rejection but a different response!
