Hebrews 10:19-39
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love
and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting
together, as some people do, but encourage one another,
especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

My sister’s text yesterday reminded me that faith was never meant to be lived in isolation.
Even the most devoted followers of Jesus grow weary sometimes. Life becomes heavy. Responsibilities multiply.
Discouragement quietly settles in. And when that happens, it becomes easier than we might expect to drift
toward distance—from community, from encouragement, and sometimes even from God.
I think my sister sensed me drifting. We briefly passed each other in the street (we live next door to each other),
and she said,
