Studying at Novosibirsk Biblical Theological Seminary
is a unique page in my life. The seminary gave me useful
tools for serving the church of Christ. During this time,
I received more knowledge and skills for serving than in
all the previous years of Christian life.
I filled in the gaps in my knowledge of Christian theology.
I learned to read the Holy Scriptures in the original
languages, which in turn brought me much closer to
understanding the biblical text. I improved my skills in
preparing and delivering a sermon to the church,
making it more relevant to the listeners.
NBTS also helped me correct misunderstandings of
some Bible texts and concepts that I, sad to say, had
previously preached within the walls of a House of
Prayer. I was glad to meet, befriend, and communicate
with wonderful fellow students and teachers, with whom
I am sure I will, to a greater or lesser extent, intersect in
ministry and maintain friendship.
